Good food, decent service. Not the most amazing restaurants of its type, but good enough.
I love small town eateries with that home cooked feel and this place definitely hold true to that! We had breakfast and the experience was great! The food portions were hearty and the service was spot on. Food was ordered and came out fast and fresh!
Good chicken dumpling soup. Salad bar selection/variety/choices marginal. My friends Chef salad had tomato on it that was pink basically. Very little of the leafy green of the Iceberg lettuce. Mostly closer to the core part. Waitress never asked how the salad was, she should have been ale to see that half the salad was laying on the plate.
We were visiting in the area and remembered they have absolutely d'lish deep fried french toast so stopped on our way across from N. Dakota to eastern Minnesota for this wonderful treat. Awesome down home restaurant with wonderful comfort food!!! In the past we stopped there many times when we were out on a motorcycle jaunt.
This place is exactly what I hope for in a small town diner restaurant. Great value. Staff is engaged. Food is good if not great. Love it.
